About This Role

This position will help complete objectives associated with BCI research grants. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for identifying study criteria, acquiring different collections of field data, analyses data, and managing data input. This position will be working with internal and external collaborators. The research assistant will be responsible for assisting in drafting and editing final research reports and manuscripts.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Cattle handling experience
  • Experience in feed yard environment and with animal health evaluations
  • Animal handling / research data collection
  • Additional training including MS or PhD


Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
