Job Description The Mortgage Loan Review Specialist is responsible for conducting pre-purchase reviews of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files to ensure each file contains the required documentation and meets underwriting and compliance standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining loan quality, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Perform pre-purchase reviews of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files * Ensure documentation meets underwriting and compliance standards (DU, LQA, Fraud, and Regulatory Guidelines) * Accurately review loan documentation and collateral files * Verify consistency and accuracy of data across documents and systems * Analyze client-provided documentation and resolve outstanding stipulations promptly * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant loan processing Required Skills * Loan documentation review * Mortgage lending knowledge * Income verification, DTI, LTV analysis * Familiarity with AUS platforms (DU, LP) * Strong attention to detail and data accuracy * Effective problem-solving and organizational skills * Clear written and verbal communication Top Skills * Loan documentation * Mortgage lending * Income verification Additional Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * 1-3 years of residential mortgage experience * End-to-end loan processing experience (qualification through close) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to manage a pipeline of loans across various stages * Strong understanding of loan policies, guidelines, and current mortgage regulations * Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
