Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Control Specialist to manage and maintain our organization's documentation systems. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of controlled documents across departments. The ideal candidate will have experience with document management systems, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and update controlled documents, including policies, procedures, specifications, and records. * Ensure proper document formatting, version control, and distribution in accordance with company and regulatory standards. * Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and archiving processes. * Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring readiness. * Train staff on document control procedures and systems. * Monitor compliance with document control policies and escalate issues as needed. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation updates. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. * 2+ years of experience in document control or records management, preferably in a regulated industry. * Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, DocuWare, or similar). * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Familiarity with ISO standards, FDA regulations, or other compliance frameworks is a plus *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
