What You Will Do:

The Deal Operations Specialist performs in a dynamic position supporting the Quote-to-Order process interfacing across several areas of the business such as sales, operations, engineering, order management, legal, finance, and shipping to ensure seamless fulfillment of orders with current systems while identifying and working with the appropriate teams for process improvements. One of the main functions includes ensuring the correct usage of Trimble's operating procedures and compliance with corporate policies while moving quotes and deals through required workflows efficiently and with a highly professional and positive customer experience.

  • Taking the initiative, having strong math skills, and being able to anticipate problems before they happen are essential for success in this position.

  • A light understanding of local regulations and operating standards for contractual agreements and general logistics is necessary.

  • You will be responsible for following standard deal procedures, providing escalatory analytical and process support to complex, non-standard deals, reviewing contract booking submissions for accuracy and alignment with our revenue recognition policies, and facilitating approvals from the respective decision-makers.

What Skills & Experience Should You Bring

  • 2+ years of order processing and/or customer deal experience in technology/hardware/software environment

  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and highly dynamic environment

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in technical focus, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related discipline

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Excel, and Domo preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

  • Handles confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and sound judgment

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
