Now Hiring: Press Operator 1 - Flexographic Printing

Location: Sussex, WI
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time | 3rd Shift

Are you an experienced flexographic press operator looking for a stable, growth-oriented opportunity? Join our team in Sussex, WI, where we're committed to quality, safety, and innovation in the packaging industry.

What You'll Do

As a Press Operator 1, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality printed materials using flexographic printing technology. You'll be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining flexographic presses, including power-up and shutdown procedures
• Reading and interpreting print tickets accurately
• Completing pre-run setup and quality checklists
• Mixing inks, color matching, toning, and proper ink disposal
• Inspecting printed rolls for quality and consistency
• Handling film rolls and roll shafts safely and efficiently
• Cleaning ink stations and printing plates
• Identifying and communicating press-related issues
• Supporting other press-related tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates who:

• Have flexographic press experience or similar printing background
• Are mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Are committed to safety and quality standards
• Are comfortable working overnight hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of related experience or training preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
