You will collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group, peer Test Engineers in Silicon Operations, and with Cisco Systems NPI teams. You will also work with Cisco's manufacturing partners to prioritize any failures and manage the OSAT production test activities.


Your Impact

You will be a Test Engineer in Silicon Operations focusing on the ATE test bring-up. You will partner with the Cisco ASIC team to bring up tests, characterize units, and release the test program to production. You will support pattern generation/debugging, identify gaps in test coverage, and design and implement new tests to improve coverage. You will work with Tier-1 OSATs to manage high-volume manufacturing tests and quality issues.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 12+ years' experience in SOC/VLSI/ bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Advantest 93k tester(SMT7/8) for NPI bring-up, characterization and production testing.
  • Highly skilled in writing code in C, C++, Java, 93k test methods, PERL, and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art trends in DFT insertion techniques, including JTAG, Scan, ATPG, SerDes, PCIe and MBIST.
  • Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction activities.
