JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Special Assets Department's administrative and operational needs. The Special Assets Department is responsible for servicing, restructuring, and liquidating Seacoast's delinquent and troubled consumer, residential, and commercial loans and assets. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, have strong organizational and administrative skills, and be able to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong and effective communication and writing skills. This role will facilitate achievement of the Department's business goals by working with internal business unit partners and external vendors in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Completing/distributing reports for departmental and committee use,
  • File research required in the servicing of problem loan relationships
  • Maintain/upload documentation and files for loan modifications, extensions and workouts
  • Maintain and organize departmental electronic files
  • Preparing problem loan files for transmittal to collections related vendors such as law firms and repossession agencies
  • Coordinate vendor engagements for various department activities with Accounts Payable
  • Process vendor invoices for payment related to collection accounts
  • Set up/Coordinate departmental meetings
  • Submitting/coordinating tickets for department needs
  • Submit/track appraisal and other professional report requests
  • Coordinate mailing out correspondence to problem loan customers
  • Distribute various reports to team for review and updating including: past due loan reports, delinquent tax reports, expiring lines/maturing loan reports, and delinquent insurance reports
  • Coordinate foreclosure title reports
  • Coordinate loan approval and document preparation.
  • Forward closed loan modifications to booking and submission to loan vault.
  • Generally assist with functions required in the servicing, liquidating and restructuring of problem loan relationships and assets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Education: Associate's degree required, with specialized course work in general office practices and sales management preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years: Three plus years of experience in a Sales Support role supporting a corporate group or business unit; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
