Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Location: Finksburg, MD

Hourly Rate: Up to $20hr depending on experience

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary:


  • Come join our Team! We currently have an exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Finksburg, MD for a Mechanical Assembler with experience reading/working to blueprints to build HVAC systems. HVAC or Sheetmetal experience is a plus.


Job Description:


  • HVAC Assembler assembles, installs, and tests heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and components, working from blueprints, schematics, and instructions to fit parts, operate hand and power tools, and conduct quality checks.
  • Key responsibilities include inspecting components, ensuring proper assembly of subassemblies and final products, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and collaborating with teams to meet production goals and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assembly & Installation: Assemble mechanical and electrical components for HVAC units and systems according to specifications, using hand and power tools.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, sketches, and written instructions to guide the assembly process.
  • Quality Control: Perform pre-build inspections of components and conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure functionality and adherence to standards.
  • Tool & Equipment Use: Utilize a variety of tools, including hand tools and power tools, and may perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Safety & Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, following all safety protocols, quality guidelines, and company policies.
  • Teamwork: Work independently or as part of a team to achieve production goals and assist in other areas as needed.


Required:


  • Mechanical Aptitude: Possess strong mechanical and technical knowledge.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Blueprint Comprehension: Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience and familiarity with using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools.


Education:


  • High school Diploma or GED.
