Who You Are...

The incumbent assumes responsibility for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the Company through the provision of effective methods and strategies and is responsible for delivering and assisting with selling of all projects. The incumbent understands how to successfully deliver design build infrastructure projects directly to building owners, including management of subcontractors, effective communication with the building owner representative and maximizing gross profit returns. It is expected that this position works very closely with the sales team to help identify and sell MEP infrastructure projects from the branch's National Strategic Accounts

  • Manager & Cross Function Collaborator - Creates an environment where the ODR team and sales staff work together closely, while maintaining clear roles and responsibilities across the cross-functional team, following our guardrails about what each position is responsible for. Focuses on providing a seamless customer experience, collaborating with the account teams regardless of reporting relationship, with the goal to ensure the customer has a seamless experience. Consistently meets with customers on-site with their teams. Demonstrates the ability to inspire and motivate a team with tremendous positive energy.
  • Attractor and developer of talent - Assists in the sourcing of talent from the marketplace and consistently identifies current and future potential talent, recruiting and searching for talent regardless of the need at the time. Acts as an ambassador of the brand and company, creating a pool of interested talent. Creates an environment alongside the Branch Manager, where prospective employees are asking to join the Company. Actively focused on the development of their team, both in the current role and future career path.
  • Financial & Reporting Expectations - Proficiently manages and projects costs in projects. Maximizes the cash position in an owner direct project model. Actively monitors projects on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Proactive Approach - Manages and builds relationships with building owners. Balances the relationship needs with managing the PCO process, ensuring we remain cash positive, maximizing overall return and improving gross profit from booking to closeout.
  • Resource Management - Manages a diverse set of resources over both the short and long term, actively engaging both the field and office teams.
  • Strategic Alignment - Supports the Branch Manager in executing the Company's strategy locally. Participates in the creation of the localized strategy and has a primary responsibility in executing it.
  • Hands-On Experience - Understands how to manage projects and is willing to help their teams in any manner necessary. Responsible for ensuring projects execute on track and if one is off track, immediately remediates the causes of delay, including spending time with the team on-site and employing an operating rhythm to resolve issues.
  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, rooted in on-time delivery, superior quality and delivery.
  • Drives onsite teams to manage projects according to agreed upon contract terms without variances.


What You Need...



  • Bachelor's Degree (in a construction-related field) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience within the mechanical HVAC industry.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in effective collaboration and communication (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
  • The ability to travel up to 50%, primarily to customer meetings and job sites.

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team.
  • Prior customer facing experience.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Work Environment:



  • This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.


Physical Demands:



  • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • This is considered a light work position, which means possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
