Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract to hire position. Responsibilities: Work as part of a development team and will be responsible for developing new features, as well as maintaining existing features for internally developed web applications, and reporting interfaces built using Java, Angular/ReactJS, and Oracle technologies Assess the technology stack of the application and implement design changes to improve the maintainability and performance of the application Work with Production Support teams to ensure stability of the application in Production environment Evaluate, analyze the problem definition and the requirements Document software high level design/approach and code Follow the software development lifecycle Review code and designs done by other team members Develop and design new software Leverage AI effectively in all the phases of the software development lifecycle Maintain existing software Troubleshoot problems in Production and lower environments Conduct proof of concept with new technologies and vendor platforms Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience Core Java Cloud native application development Oracle, SQL ETL, Autosys Java Enterprise frameworks Web/REST micro services Spring framework Kafka messaging, JDBC, Hibernate. CI/CD Automation Agile development LINUX Troubleshooting Desired skills: Knowledge, or 1-2 years of experience with Github Co-pilot Workflow concepts - Pega, Camunda Scala Python Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
