- Provides leadership, financial management oversight, manages staff, and monitors performance management.
- Provide ongoing training and communication to ensure staff are always up to date on new processes and changes.
- Ensures compliance to meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintains relationships with the City of Chicago and partners.
- Responsible for meeting the goals and objectives outlined in the contract.
- Ensures all laws, rules and regulations are followed as outlined by the contract.
- Engages partner organizations to assist guests with needed services both onsite and offsite.
- Manages relationships with hotel(s), food, security and other vendors as appropriate.
- Ensures a positive guest experience.
- Performs quality assurance monitoring.
- Fosters a positive culture.
- Ensures proper practices regarding record keeping, control systems, and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Five (5) years' professional experience organizing/developing programs at a management level with two (2) years of senior management
- Effective planning, training and supervisory abilities
- Ability to effectively delegate, monitor, and evaluate complex programs
- Possess excellent human resource and management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in working in a culturally diverse community setting
- Bilingual preferred
- Intermediate level MS Office Skills
- Proof of valid driver's license and liability insurance may be required
