Non-exempt Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY Responsible for providing administrative support to the Engineering department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Collect and compile data for various functions within the Engineering department; Pipeline Design and Construction System. Compile, update and maintain various reports, spreadsheets, databases, charts, and graphs. Provide administrative duties such as, but not limited to: Pay Voucher processing, customer mass mailings, ordering of office supplies, etc. Enter invoices into the Oracle iProcurement system. Compile, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual. Compile, maintain and update various reports and development of spreadsheets related to the Plant/Facility Improvement Program, the Building/Facility/Grounds Maintenance, and the Support Services processes. Basic level skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to develop needed skills with the following software: Access, Visio, and Oracle. Ability to effectively communicate. Mathematical ability to make basic calculations when compiling and computing data. Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Basic organizational skills, to manage tasks and priorities. Detail oriented to produce accurate work. Ability to work well within a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Understanding of company policies and procedures to enhance employee awareness and increase customer satisfaction. Cross-train with other positions within the department to provide continual coverage of other office duties as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS Generally, works a 40-hour week in an office environment. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals due to the physical location of the office. May be assigned to work at any Louisville Water Company facility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of clerical experience. EEO/AA Statement
