STS Line Maintenance is hiring highly motivated A&P Mechanics to join our team in Vero Beach, Florida. In this role, you'll support the daily maintenance operations of our airline customers while ensuring safety, reliability, and top-level service.

STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the United States. With a rapid-response, nationwide network, we take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable aircraft maintenance solutions.

We are currently offering pay rates between $36 and $40 per hour, based on experience.


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Regional Director and Station Leads
  • Partner closely with airline field teams, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by regulations, directives, company policies, and best practices
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
  • Maintain the highest levels of quality and integrity
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on test results, while following maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required
  • Perform other duties as necessary
  • Work outdoors in varying and inclement weather conditions as required
  • Perform maintenance on Airbus A320 and A220 aircraft

The Ideal Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions
  • Previous experience on Airbus A320 Family and/or A220 required (Gen Fam certifications highly desired but not required)
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling provided)
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (with or without accommodations)
  • Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol test, and obtain customs & border patrol clearance
  • Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills
  • Experience working under an FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience highly desired
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus
  • Able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair methods for damaged components
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Flexible schedule with availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong customer focus, communication skills, and work ethic
  • Multiple positions available

Rate of Pay


  • $36 - $40 per hour, depending on experience
