Skilled - Mazak Lathe Machinist/Programmer Responsibilities: - Program CNC Mazak Lathes using Mazatrol - Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for efficient machining operations - Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications - Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools - Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting - Optimize programs and setups to improve cycle times and tool life - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards - Document processes, setups, and program revisions as needed Requirements For Skilled - Mazak Lathe Machinist/Programmer: - 2+ years of experience operating and programming Mazak CNC Lathes - Strong knowledge of Mazatrol programming (G-code experience a plus) - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T - Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments - Familiarity with machining a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminum - Strong attention to detail and quality standards - Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
