Position Title: Packer Wage: $17.00 - $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Packer to join our warehouse team in Libertyville, IL. This individual will play a key role in helping pack orders and assist with various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and be able to effectively communicate in English, ensuring smooth coordination with the team. The position requires the ability to lift boxes up to 40-50lbs (though not frequently) and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Apply today! Packer Responsibilities: - Efficiently and accurately pack products for shipment according to company standards - Verify product quantities, quality, and labeling before packing, ensuring all orders are correct - Take part in special projects as needed, assisting in packing, organization, and inventory tasks - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete orders and meet deadlines - Enter packing information into the system, maintaining thorough records - Assist with restocking products and organizing the warehouse as needed - Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and the work area remains clean and organized - Be a resource for other packers, providing guidance and support when necessary - Maintain clear and open communication with all team members and supervisors Requirements for Packer: - Proven experience as a packer or in a similar warehouse role - Fluency in English, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and the ability to pack orders accurately and efficiently - Ability to work well in a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and drive - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work on different projects as needed - Good organizational skills - Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area - Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing up to 40-50lbs occasionally - Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods of time - Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions gurnee@qpsemployment.com IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
