Position: Asset Repair Coordinator

Location: Princeton, IN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-focused, tech-savvy Service & Repair Coordinator to lead repair and preventive maintenance services for equipment located within Toyota facilities and surrounding customer locations. This position combines hands-on technical knowledge with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Contribute to a strong, team-based culture focused on customer care, operational excellence, and personal growth.
  • Act as a central point of contact for both Toyota associates and vendors to resolve service needs quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate efficient scheduling, parts processing, and logistics to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Answer customer inquiries with confidence and professionalism, providing solutions and follow-through.
  • Accurately enter and manage data in ERP and tracking systems, including quotes, purchase orders, acknowledgements, and repair records.
  • Build and maintain key vendor relationships to support repair and service opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage documentation of all work performed, ensuring compliance with service contracts.
  • Participate in ongoing product and systems training, staying current with best practices and tools.
  • Support problem-solving activities related to accounts payable, receivables, and customer service challenges.
  • Adhere to safety and 5S standards, aligning with Toyota's culture of continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of special projects and "step up" when new opportunities arise.


Qualifications:



  • High school graduation or equivalency; emphasis on office, shop or other skills
  • Ability to travel up to occasionally travel; overnight travel may be required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, maintenance or service shop
  • Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business.
  • Proven experience in industrial environment
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience reading and understanding documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Proven experience in effectively communicating information and responding to questions in person-to person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances with resilience and a positive attitude

  • High level of motivation with a demonstrated ability to work alone or in a team
  • Ability to manage both team and customer expectations
  • Familiarity with 5S
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to understand written and oral English and be proficient with computer, email, spreadsheets and look up documents online
  • Ability to learn and use OTC's computer systems to create and maintain required records regarding equipment repair and service
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to OTC insurance company
  • Ability to work in environments that may include:

    • Moving mechanical parts
    • Fumes or airborne particles
    • Painting chemicals and solvents
    • Electrical equipment
