The Community Life Senior Manager role at TCB The Community Life Senior Manager for the downstate region will report directly to the Regional Director of Community Life for NY/NY while overseeing properties located within NYC and Westchester County. This leadership position interfaces with teams in several growing neighborhoods where TCB manages affordable housing communities including in East Harlem, the Bronx, and Yonkers as well as two additional developments in the Tremont Section of The Bronx set to finish construction at the end of 2025 The office for this position is located at... Under direct supervision of the Director of Community Life for NY/NJ, the CL Senior Manager will:
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local service providers, organizations, hospitals, and universities focused on safety, health & wellness, economic mobility and resident leadership.
- Lead Community Life efforts at properties located in East Harlem, The Bronx and Yonkers, in collaboration with real estate development and property management, to develop annual one-year workplans outlining strategies, partnership development and activities that fit into the sites' strategic objectives.
- Support residents experiencing housing instability by building trusting relationships and having a strong understanding of reliable, quality resources/organizations for which to make referrals, as needed; coordinate the implementation of the TCB Housing Stabilization Standard of Practice.
- Oversee and coordinate resident outreach and engagement work using CL methods to connect and empower residents.
- Report on progress and exercise authority as needed while managing CL activities to ensure high quality and resident-centered approaches.
- Oversee CL budgets and fulfill reporting requirements for grant funded activities and manage progress towards fulfilling grant deliverables.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure effective communication between the site team, community partners, agencies, funders, and TCB corporate support.
- Manage administrative tasks, such as executing MOUs with providers and partners to carry out programming.
- Ensure the collection and input of all program and performance data in the CL Connect database. Coordinate with partners for sharing data and metrics.
- Represent TCB at various monthly community interagency meetings and report back to the team.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to best practices.
- Prioritize tasks and communicate progress, problems, and needs for additional support.
- Perform other project-related duties as needed.

- Experience building and maintaining effective partnerships and working with social service providers and other organizations
- Demonstrated management ability and interest in motivating and energizing site staff, future hires, and partners
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in using data and evaluations to inform practice and program design
- Experience engaging, communicating and collaborating with residents of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, including in areas relating to housing stabilization and goal-setting
- Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), and problem-solving skills
- Strong personal initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of related experience, and prior experience supervising staff required
- Strong preference for a bilingual Spanish speaker
