As a Service Design Manager you will:



  • Lead the identification, development, and testing of new service models with the aim of improving client outcomes.
  • Provide service leadership with design process expertise and leadership to accelerate and maximize mission impact.
  • Utilize data intelligence capabilities to demonstrate service redesign value.
  • Provide employee opportunities for design skills/processes learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years direct experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional or educational experience in human-centered design, innovation, design thinking or similar user experience design methods.
  • Three+ years' experience in cross-functional project management.
  • Three+ years' experience in service leadership and/or program development.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing data analytics to drive ideation and decision-making.
  • The capacity to be highly adaptive to different work/personal cultures and work from a racial equity lens.
  • Experience (lived, professional, or volunteer) with primary communities LSS serves: older adults, people with disabilities, families and youth, socio-economically disadvantaged, racially/ethnically diverse.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, through ambiguity.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and preferably access to a car.
