As anE-Commerce Fulfillment Team Member / Pick/Pack Lead, you'll play a key role in making sure our customers receive their orders quickly, accurately, and with care. The role of anE-Commerce Fulfillment Team Memberis to get product to the customer as fast as possible and is a critical function within our logistics. You'll have the opportunity to positively impact the customer experience by ensuring orders are packed and sorted quickly while maintaining product quality and freshness. ThePick/Pack Leadis responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the packing area, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and shipped on time. This role serves as a team leader, supporting the packing team, maintaining workflow efficiency, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The Pick/Pack Lead will also be cross-trained as an Order Processor to provide support as needed.

Tasks and Responsibilities



  • Pick items for customer orders accurately and quickly, meeting service and shipping time standards.
  • Properly prepare, pack, and sort customer orders for shipment using correct materials in a timely manner.
  • Meet pick and pack productivity expectations.
  • Complete return-to-stock tasks according to best practices.
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to leadership.
  • Properly use equipment while following safety best practices.
  • Manually load outbound orders into third-party carrier trailers.
  • Leverage appropriate escalation tools to resolve fulfillment issues; notify leadership as needed.
  • Execute end-of-day procedures.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, and product freshness and quality standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs.



Qualifications

Basic Qualification




  • High school diploma or GED.


  • Knowledge of warehousing procedures.


  • Previous experience as a fulfillment associate preferred.


  • Ability to read and interpret written work orders.


  • Strong attention to detail.


  • Ability to work in a loud environment.


  • Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.


  • Ability to withstand exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse and on loading dock.




  • Must be able to bend, pull and lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a workday.


  • Must be able to climb ladders, use a pallet jack.


  • Ability to pull and or push rolling carts.


  • Proven history of punctuality.


  • Basic math skills.


  • Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
