Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in project execution, real property management, and land rights acquisition? We are seeking a dedicated Lands & Right-of-Way Supervisor to join our supervisory team, providing vital direction, technical support, and leadership to our Lands and ROW team supporting our Projects in the US. What You Will Do: Strategically support the Projects organization to competitively deliver Enbridge's growth and capital program:
Develop scope, schedule, and costs of right-of-way activities. Develop, implement and oversee strategies to acquire land, compensate landowners, and obtain land related permits. Provide third party consultant oversight. Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, landowner organizations, and regulators. Provide expertise for the settlement of damage claims. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Represent Enbridge at public meetings and hearings. Support other Projects SMEs in their work including route analysis and development, development of regulatory applications, project communications, field surveys, etc. Communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical staff, project leaders, external consultants, and external stakeholders as required Develop, coordinate and ensure compliance and consistent application of all Lands and Right-of-Way practices, guidelines, procedures and policies.
As a leader:
Provide positive leadership, strategic direction, troubleshoot problems and remove roadblocks for direct reports executing support work for Projects. Representing and acting as a role model of Enbridge's culture and values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and High Performance. Manage performance of direct reports and conduct administrative aspects of leadership.
Who You Are: You have the following education & experience:
Related University degree, diploma or professional land certification. 10+ years of progressively responsible and varied land and ROW industry experience, in complex multi-jurisdictional project environments. A self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and management skills including the ability to manage the activities and priorities of a diverse group of professionals across multiple locations. The ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Strong interpersonal skills focused internally and externally, at all levels. Demonstrated capability in ensuring strong linkages both inside and outside of the organization Ability to apply strategic solutions to issues. Ability to quickly identify key points from a lot of process information and transition into a practical simplified communication Demonstrated capability in improving outcomes and sustaining improvements Demonstrates a willingness to implement new ideas within acceptable boundaries Capability in planning, implementing, and leading change initiatives including ensuring adequate change leadership Advanced negotiation and influencing skills in sensitive and high-profile situations.
