Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Hoffman Estates, IL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or computer-based systems.
  • Follow written procedures and technical drawings to perform tasks.
  • Accurately record data and findings in internal systems.
  • Use provided tools and test equipment (cordless screwdrivers, torque wrenches, digital multimeters).
  • Some roles involve occasional handling of low-level radioactive components (safety measures provided).

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $23.50 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Temp (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in interpret engineering drawings (mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Mechatronics certification.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technical skills.
  • Ability to read and follow step-by-step procedures.
  • Good attention to detail when logging data electronically or on paper.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools (torque wrenches, Atlas Copco smart tools, Faro Lasers).
  • Experience using electrical test instruments (digital multimeters, ground bond testers).
  • Experience installing software on computer systems.
  • Prior work experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Availability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime (including some weekends).
