Would you like to play a key role in shaping and executing compliance initiatives for an established financial institution that is dedicated to serving community needs? This position offers the opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization, solving problems, leading regulatory initiatives, developing solutions, and building skills in a collaborative environment. You will be part of reviewing new products and initiatives and ensuring that customers are treated fairly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. As a member of the Compliance team, this position is responsible and accountable to help the Bank achieve the highest possible level of regulatory compliance and to work with operational areas to identify, prioritize, and execute solutions as issues and initiatives arise.
This is an individual contributor role without direct reports, but with significant influence across the enterprise. The successful candidate will bring deep compliance expertise, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects that impact the Bank's goals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or Juris Doctor a plus but not required
* Minimum five (5) years of regulatory compliance or audit experience in the financial services industry
* Experience supporting enterprise-level initiatives and working across departments to deliver results.

Certificate, Licenses and Registration Requirements:

* Professional certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CERP, CIA, CCEP, or equivalent).

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

* Proven ability to research compliance issues and provide effective, practical guidance.
* Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements and expectations into clear actions.
* Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
* Effective planning, project management, time management, and organizational abilities.
* Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams

Essential Functions:
* Interpret and implement compliance requirements in coordination with Bank departments.
* Partner with business lines to evaluate and support new products, services, and strategic initiatives.
* Provide compliance support for designated material initiatives and projects, particularly those impacting Bank goals and management objectives.
* Lead or support projects aimed at improving or streamlining compliance processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing risk of error.
* Support Enterprise Risk Management initiatives and contribute to risk assessments.
* Oversee timely and accurate responses to audit and regulatory requests and inquiries.
* Execute all aspects of the Bank's Compliance Policy as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.
* Any additional assigned duties to meet departmental objectives.
* All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
