Job Description
Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday 8:30pm-5am Essential Functions of Employment with DLO: Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis The SPT I is responsible for general support functions within the Specimen Processing Department. Functions performed may include but are not limited to data entry of test orders, presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory, centrifugation and aliquoting. Job is complex and requires that employee have good organization skills and ability to learn and understand specimen types related to test(s) ordered by client. This position is critical to quality for customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Basic understanding of computers with a preferred knowledge of laboratory testing and/or laboratory specimen processing. Ability to type 40-45 WPM is expected within this role. Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment. Qualifications: No experience required but previous laboratory experience preferred Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need. Physical and Mental Requirements:
