Position Summary:

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leveraging advanced analytical skills to drive strategic business decisions and compliance with Enterprise Sales contracts, awards, and reporting. This role involves oversight of complex data analysis projects, developing complex reporting deliverables, and supporting report automation development. The analyst will engage with senior leadership to provide deep insights and recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Data Analysis and Reporting: Lead the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large and complex data sets from multiple sources. Develop and manage sophisticated dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Translate intricate data findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Submit contractual reporting deliverables to government agencies.
  • Data Management and Ingestion: Utilize cutting edge analytical tools to ingest external data into data warehouse
  • Tools and Technology Expertise: Utilize and master advanced BI tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python. Stay abreast of the latest BI technologies and best practices. Develop and implement automated reporting processes to enhance efficiency in data retrieval and analysis.
  • Strategic Business Insights: Identify significant trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization and growth. Provide high-level strategic recommendations to senior management based on thorough data analysis.
  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Manage and oversee multiple high-impact projects and priorities simultaneously. Ensure the timely delivery of comprehensive reports and insights. Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance data infrastructure and resolve data issues.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, sales support or customer experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and SQL.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead high impact projects

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail, government) is highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record of driving business value through data-driven insights and strategies.
  • Experience with using Python for automation and analytics

  • Physical Requirements (lifting, standing, etc.): Normal office requirements - significant computer work and meetings

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$84,800 - $141,300
