Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of company practices and engineering standards.
  • Prepares project design with limited complexity.
  • Utilize productive and cooperative working relationships with other departments to fulfill project requirements.
  • Assist with investigating technical problems and establish procedures and corrective actions.
  • Consider the hazards and relevant safety precautions of the natural gas industry during project design.
  • Integrate good verbal communication and organizational skills into projects.
  • Working knowledge of pipeline simulation programs and how to utilize them in a planning role for new project, expansions or troubleshooting systems.
  • Self motivated and works independently.

Required education or minimum level:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering Discipline

Experience:

  • Basic Natural Gas industry concepts

  • 0-4 years Engineering project experience

Software Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Products

  • Engineering Programs

Physical requirements:

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Driving, walking, standing frequently

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered by an employee while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Normal office working conditions or at the project site.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

* Overnight travel is required when necessary to manage projects.

* Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, extreme temperature conditions, and loud machinery and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
