As an Assembler I at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will be at the forefront of manufacturing life-saving medical devices in a strictly controlled environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices following strict GMP's, specifications, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively within teams to cultivate positive relationships and minimize conflicts, promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • Rotate in different operations within the manufacturing process/training module assigned.
  • Document data or results regarding manufacturing processes and ensure information is accurate and adheres to GDP's.
  • Determine quality of product at each stage of development and communicate issues and deviations regarding products and processes immediately.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections and checks, including visual inspection of devices, packaging materials, and air flow testing.
  • Use sanitizer as part of the gowning process when entering the cleanroom.
  • Clean and coordinate manufacturing equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Display outstanding manual dexterity in performing intricate tasks, ensuring high-quality and attention to detail.
  • Follow Safety requirements, instructions, and procedures.
  • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gown, eye wear, face protection, shoe covering, and gloves.
Qualifications
  • Ability to pass visual acuity test (20/20 corrected vision) and pass Particulate Matter Certification.
  • Capability to understand and grasp manufacturing procedures.
  • Capability to comprehend, write, and interpret English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has an hourly pay rate of $21.00.
