Technical Expertise Meets Strategic Impact

The Technical Advisor is the trusted expert for solving complex spray booth challenges, applying advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and service expertise to keep customers operational. Beyond technical support, this role strengthens technician capability through training and knowledge transfer, while collaborating with Leadership on strategic initiatives that enhance product serviceability, elevate field performance, and deliver exceptional customer experience.

What Success looks Like

  • Provide expert guidance and actionable solutions for technical issues.
  • Author, review, and refine service documentation, processes, and diagnostic tools.
  • Travel to customer sites to support field technicians with complex product troubleshooting.
  • Partner with Leadership to shape service standards, training programs, and best practices.
  • Lead hands-on training for equipment startup, maintenance, and service.
  • Audit field technician performance, delivering feedback and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and recommend alternative components and replacement strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to solve challenging technical problems.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Qualifications That Shine

  • Associate's degree in a related field with 7+ years in field service, technical customer service, or engineering-or equivalent experience (2 years of relevant work per year of schooling).
  • Proven track record of training, mentoring, and evaluating remote team members to boost performance.
  • Skilled at identifying and driving initiatives that deliver real business impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to tackle field-reported technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional projects and collaborating across teams to achieve results.
