SUMMARY

The Salesforce Data & Analytics Lead is responsible for ensuring data visibility and insights across the Salesforce platform and connected systems. This role owns the strategy and execution of analytics within Salesforce - from native reporting and dashboards to advanced analytics through Tableau and CRM Analytics (CRMA). The Lead ensures that data is transformed, governed, and delivered in a way that enables actionable insights for all personas with a Salesforce license. Acting as both strategist and practitioner, this role defines standards for data visibility, partners with business stakeholders to align on requirements, and builds scalable solutions that drive adoption and value. *Travel is required for this role up to 20% frequency. Hybrid work schedule in Alliant Offices - Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; Naples, FL; or Atlanta, GA.*



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the vision and standards for data visibility across Salesforce and integrated platforms.



Partner with business stakeholders to capture analytics needs by persona, role, and business function.



Ensure data transformation, residency, and governance practices support trusted reporting and analytics.



Establish a framework for data quality, consistency, and security in analytics delivery.



Design, build, and optimize Salesforce native reports and dashboards to meet business needs.



Lead the use of Tableau and CRM Analytics (CRMA) for cross-system data mashups and advanced analytics.



Define and enforce reporting standards, ensuring dashboards are actionable and scalable.



Translate business requirements into data models, datasets, and analytics assets.



Deliver insights that inform business decisions.



Partner with Salesforce architects, integration teams, and data owners to ensure data flows correctly into Salesforce and CRMA/Tableau.



Work with business teams to define KPIs and align analytics to business outcomes.



Train and enable end users on Salesforce reporting best practices, data literacy, and dashboard adoption.



Mentor Salesforce admins and analysts on data visualization, reporting, and analytics capabilities.


QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience



Five (5) or more years of experience as a Salesforce Architect



Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator



Tableau Desktop Specialist or higher



CRM Analytics Certification



Salesforce Data Architect Certification



Tableau CRM Consultant Certification


SKILLS

Ability to build dashboards, datasets, and analytics in Salesforce, Tableau, and CRMA.



Ability to design cross-system analytics strategies that balance OOTB capabilities with advanced tools.



Ability to coach others and build data literacy across the organization.



Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and reporting capabilities.



Strong communication and presentation skills for executive and end-user audiences.



Strong experience defining and implementing data transformation and data governance practices.



Strong background in designing persona-based reporting and delivering insights across business functions.



Strong experience in enterprise environments with complex data landscapes.



Knowledge of data residency, transformation, and integration considerations.



Knowledge of Tableau and/or CRM Analytics (CRMA) for advanced analytics.



Excellent strategic thinker who can also deliver tactical solutions quickly.
