EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $237,964.79 to $327,201.58 Annually

The pay ranges listed above are for each position's base pay only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a visionary and globally minded executive to join our organization as Associate Vice President, with potential to advance into an Executive role within our U.S Division. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing business and lead it through its next phase of transformation.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in healthcare, diagnostics, or biotechnology, coupled with a strong track record in corporate governance, post-merger integration, and cross-border operations. In this role, you will work closely with the subsidiary's leadership team to drive performance, innovation, and operational excellence, taking full ownership of growth and transformation initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job and the approximate percentage of time spent on each of the activities; describe what must be accomplished, not how it must be done; include supervision or management responsibilities, quality and quantity standards, and % Time (as applicable.)

Collaborate with the current leadership team to execute key strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Lead post-merger integration (PMI) activities for acquired entities, aligning them with group strategy, culture, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Japanese parent company and the U.S. subsidiary, ensuring strong corporate governance, internal controls, and timely reporting.
  • Strengthen internal processes and risk management frameworks in alignment with global standards.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility and set the business strategic direction to accelerate growth.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. regulations and parent company governance policies.
  • Champion innovation and drive market expansion in cancer-related genetic testing.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, mission-driven culture.
  • Serve as the external face of the company and provide regular updates to the board and parent company leadership.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Advanced degree preferred - MBA, PhD, or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, or related industries.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally to support business needs.

  • Proven cross-cultural communication skills, with experience collaborating with Japanese or other international parent companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance and implementing robust internal control frameworks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare and regulatory landscape.
