The Asset Manager is an integral member of a team of professionals charged with identifying and mitigating the credit, financial, operational, physical, and market risks impacting the properties collateralizing its commercial real estate serviced portfolio.

The person filling this position will work directly with all team members, as well as borrowers, guarantors, local/state/federal government agencies; developers, owners, managers, and other industry groups, all intent on providing and maintaining sound financing of the nation's commercial and multifamily real estate.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform ongoing asset management and surveillance activities to monitor ownership and management performance and the physical integrity of the property(s) selected as collateral for the loan(s) including:

    • Review and analysis of property operating statements;

    • Review of property inspections;

    • Monitor payment of Real Estate Taxes and Insurance; ensure prompt payment of said items are being escrowed by BWE;

    • Monitor Borrower's compliance with the Loan Documents; and,

    • Advise Senior Management of any perceived risks and/or issues within the assigned portfolio; thereby mitigating risks of default.

    • Act as the main point of contact and manage company relationships with all internal and external clients within an assigned portfolio.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders by responding promptly and accurately to questions and information requests.

  • Promote and participate in an established team atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate business degree or equivalent in experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in real estate asset/portfolio management preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, coordinate, and communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service.

  • Good analytical, oral, and written communication and presentation skills.
