Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement. Reporting to the Senior Program Administrator Supervisor, the Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support for the Associate Vice Chancellor and the strategic initiatives of the Student Access and Success Group and supporting the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement program.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Works collaboratively with senior leadership to meet programmatic goals and division priorities, plans and directs operational activities, including the administration and planning of the signature initiatives.
- Develops, adopts, and/or improves initiatives that encourage interest in and provide support to improve student transition to college, promote persistence and retention, enable timely graduation, support career exploration and enable post-baccalaureate success, particularly among first-generation and historically underrepresented student populations.
- Supports the preparation of annual and expenditure reports related to grant funded activity and works with leadership to maintain a student/alumni database.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of administrative and programmatic experience, preferably with some experience in higher education or a non-profit organization.

Preferred Qualifications |
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a fast-paced, high visibility executive office overseeing the implementation of campus level initiatives and providing executive support.
