*Position Overview:* Are you a skilled mechanic ready to transition from the shop floor to a professional office environment? We're seeking *Mechanical Claims Analysts* to join a growing customer contact team. This role allows you to leverage your automotive expertise to assess and process mechanical claims, all while enjoying a more comfortable and stable work setting. You will be on site for training for two week then this will be a full time work from home position.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Evaluate, investigate, and process mechanical claims using your in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems * Communicate with vehicle contract holders, repair facilities, and other parties via phone and email * Provide clear and empathetic guidance to customers regarding claim decisions and next steps * Maintain accurate electronic records using proprietary systems * Collaborate with peers and leadership to uphold high standards of service and integrity *Types of Calls You'll Handle:* * *Dealerships* requesting claim approval for vehicle repairs * *Car owners* seeking clarification on approved or denied claims * *Car owners* needing guidance on how to initiate a claim or repair process *Required Skills & Experience:* * At least 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair or equivalent technical work * Strong knowledge of *engine, transmission, and electrical systems* * Excellent customer service and communication skills * ASE Certification is a plus * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (additional $2/hour) *Training* - 2 weeks fully on site at a location JM&A will provide in the Phoenix area. After training - fully work from home environment *Schedule:* M-F - 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm local time Saturday - 8:00am - 3:00pm - typically once a month - can choose to take a float day during the week if they work Saturday, but then they will only receive 38-39 hours for the week - can also choose to take Saturday as overtime (this is preferred from JMA as they are constantly dealing with high volumes) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
