We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Charge Entry Specialist to manage and optimize manual data workflows within the Charge Entry and Claims Submission processes. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy and integrity in a high-volume environment, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based data manipulation.
Key Responsibilities: * Oversee manual data handling for charge entry and claims submission workflows. * Generate weekly and monthly charge reports using data from internal systems, following established procedures. * Identify and resolve data discrepancies, missing information, and formatting issues within large datasets (up to 30,000+ rows). * Transform raw charge files into structured formats suitable for claims processing. * Perform complex data manipulation in Excel, including: * Matching and merging large datasets. * Applying formulas and conditional formatting. * Creating unique identifiers for cross-system validation. * Interpret and troubleshoot existing Excel formulas to understand their logic and purpose. * Ensure data quality and completeness based on established guidelines before automated claims submission. * Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Advanced Excel proficiency: Must have recent experience using Excel as a primary tool, including working with formulas, conditional formatting, and multi-sheet referencing. * Data processing expertise: Ability to independently clean, organize, and analyze raw data without step-by-step guidance. * Technical aptitude: Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing remote setups. * Typing speed: Minimum of 60 WPM with high accuracy. * Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify missing data points or inconsistencies. Excel proficiency test required - candidates must score 94% or higher. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience in charge entry or healthcare claims processing. * Familiarity with healthcare data systems and terminology. Experience Level: Entry-Level (with strong Excel and data handling experience) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
