Now Hiring: Benefits Specialist (Remote Contract) Location: Jeffersonville, IN Pay Range: $18-$21/hour (based on experience) Category: Compensation / Benefits Contract Duration: Through end of January to mid/late February TEKsystems is partnering with Pharmacord to hire a Benefits Specialist who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This remote contract role supports benefit investigations and patient outreach. Key Responsibilities * Conduct approximately 10 outbound calls per day to gather benefit details * Perform full benefit investigations using provided scripts * Manage inbound patient calls regarding applications * Document findings in the Summary of Benefits * Maintain accurate case notes in the Lynk system Required Skills * 2+ years of inbound and outbound call center experience * Strong computer proficiency * Familiarity with medical terminology and basic insurance processes Preferred Experience * Experience in medical claims, insurance verification, or patient access Additional Qualifications * High attention to detail * Adaptability to change * Patient-focused communication style * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a plus) Work Environment * PTO Blackout: No time off permitted in January; up to 3 pre-approved dates allowed at hire * Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM) * Observed Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (half day), Christmas Day, New Year's Eve (half day), New Year's Day Training Details * Duration: 6-8 weeks * Weeks 1-2: Onsite at 150 Hilton Dr., Jeffersonville, IN (8:30 AM-5:00 PM) * Weeks 3+: Onsite at PC West - 4550 Town Center Blvd., Jeffersonville, IN If you're detail-oriented, patient-focused, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
