*Job Description* We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused *Accounts Support Specialist* to manage a portfolio of 60-70 customer accounts. This role involves light collections work, primarily following up on payment statuses and past-due invoices. The accounts are generally straightforward, requiring minimal investigation or escalation.
Key responsibilities include: * Monitoring account activity and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding payments. * Uploading invoices and performing basic data entry and processing tasks. * Managing weekly check runs, including preparing, stuffing, and stamping outgoing checks. * Handling incoming U.S. mail and distributing it appropriately. * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve account-related issues. * Communicating with customers via email and phone to ensure smooth payment processes. This position offers a balanced mix of administrative tasks and customer interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys routine work with occasional problem-solving. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * *Customer Service*: Comfortable communicating with clients via phone and email. * *Data Entry*: Accurate and efficient input of invoice and payment data. * *Microsoft Excel*: Basic understanding of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs is a plus. * *Office Experience*: 1-2 years in a professional setting preferred. * *Phone Confidence*: Willingness to make outbound calls and follow up with customers. *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with B2B collections (not required but beneficial). * Familiarity with basic accounting or finance processes. * Prior exposure to invoice processing or check runs. *Experience Level* *Entry Level* - Perfect for candidates looking to grow their skills in a supportive and structured environment.lus to have pivot table experience Plus to have B2B collections *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
