This Position reports to:

HR Business Partner

The work model for the role is: Onsite - Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Educates customers in policies, business processes and the correct usage of HR tools; Executes and delivers HR services in compliance with agreed business processes, KPIs and quality targets in a timely, accurate and customer focused manner, showing an end-to-end responsibility.

  • Acts as point of contact for inquiries regarding HR related topics and delivers support across one or several service line(s); Supports cross-collaboration within HR Services operations and other HR functions to optimize processes and tools and therewith promote synergies.

  • Executes and delivers imperative and crucial assigned HR Services and certain legal responsibilities.

  • Takes responsibility for the correct handling of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and escalations and therewith related process improvements.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor degree in business, human resources management or related field

  • Minimum 2 years experience in HR operations as generalist in HR service lines (HR Information System, Employee Life Cycle, Learning & Development, People Analytics, Talent Acquisition) OR Associate degree PLUS minimum 4 years of related experience

  • Preferred experience working in manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Workday preferred

  • Must be willing to be people facing and interact with employee; ability to manage multiple demands on your time and to work in cross-functional teams; Collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Knowledge of local statutory, legal and labor law

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
