About The Position

This position provides foundational administrative support for directors and other team members and assists in the coordination of internal and external events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and materials for meetings and events, manage calendars, prepare agendas and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with requisitions, TRIS, supply orders, and record maintenance.
  • Execute administrative tasks and projects, including testing and setting up audio and visual technology for meetings, planning and setting up meals, and other logistics items for business meetings, coordinating and identifying needs for safety items and PPE for meetings and site visits.
  • Learn, adopt and pilot new processes and technologies to provide innovative and exceptional support services to the team.
  • Effectively represent the division through interactions with other parts of the Company. Take ownership of internal and external customer issues and collaboratively come up with appropriate solutions. Develop effective relationships with employees, customers, community leaders, and political leaders.
  • Maintain and/or improve proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, database applications, and company IT systems. Serve as a resource to field management employees for forms, travel arrangements, organization knowledge, and other similar activities.
  • Effectively handle sensitive/confidential information.

Qualifications - Operations and Event Coordinator

Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. One or more years of administrative or event coordination experience.

Qualifications - Executive Operations and Event Coordinator

Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five or more years in operations or event planning, including two or more years working with executives.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Strong communicator and multitasker who is eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. Excellent organization and multitasking skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools. Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or similar applications).

Additional Information

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$52,200.00 - $105,300.00

* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
