Job Objective: Manage and execute the strategy of moving equity crude from a cross section of the lower 48 Domestic US market. This role is responsible for all commercial activities required.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all, or a subset of Permian, Rockies, Gulf Coast and Northeast US crude markets.
  • Driving value creation through an understanding of local crude alternatives and values, of alternate downstream markets.
  • Supervise the scheduling of crude that needs to move downstream of lease markets.
  • Capture and document all information required for the transactions and through the accounting process.
  • Work to land to ensure that various referenced ownership % are kept up to date with counterparts.
  • Work with regulatory groups to ensure that timely updates to the regulatory process is adhered to when changing downstream options.
  • Effectively communicate the market fundamentals, alternatives and pricing to management and the assets teams.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years minimum experience in domestic crude oil marketing and or trading.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in US Domestic markets.
  • Exceptional ability in developing self-directed teams to meet performance goals.
  • Exceptional ability in developing team momentum, enthusiasm, and pride in company when accomplishing company goals.
  • Ability to anticipate approaching problems and establish strategic plans for future success.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in regulatory compliance management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
    • Preferred: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college.
