Dental Lab Tech Float

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Dental Lab Technician (Float) to support our Orthodontics and Prosthodontics teams at our La Crosse and Onalaska clinics. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology and crafting precise dental appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate dental appliances using both traditional and digital methods
• Work collaboratively with other lab technicians while also being comfortable working independently
• Utilize 3D scanned images to create models and appliances as we transition to a fully digital workflow
• Support orthodontic and prosthodontic cases with high attention to detail and quality

What is Available:

• 36-hours a week, Monday-Thursday
• 9-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Starting rate of $19.86/hr + more for experience

What We're Looking For:

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalency
• Prior dental lab experience is highly preferred
• General dental experience is desirable to understand appliance function and clinical context
• Strong fine motor skills and comfort with tactile tasks
• A willingness to learn and be taught-we value curiosity and growth
• Someone who is artistic or creative may thrive in this role due to the hands-on nature of the work
