Part-time (30 hours per week)

Position Summary: The ATF Compliance Specialist I is responsible for executing document auditing for the Compliance department through 4473 forms with guidance from the Supervisor, Compliance. This individual works with Compliance, Customer Service, Legal, and Sales departments to assure the SIG Experience Center operates within the Federal Firearms regulations. This role typically requires 0-6 months of previous related work experience and the ability to respond to and manage quickly changing requirements. The ATF Compliance Specialist I collaborates with the SEC Compliance team, Legal, Customer Service, Sales, and the warehouse.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Physically review and correct all completed ATF Form 4473s on-site at the SIG Experience Center. Compare physical forms to digital records and correct any discrepancies. Document and notify Sales team of corrections.
  • Assist Analyst by processing Approved Form 4s for pickup. Ability to file ATF Form 3s for shipping of NFA items to another FFL.
  • Assist Sales and Customer Service teams with CoreStore account discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance and coaching for 4473 forms and supports Sales team proficiency.
  • Notify Sales Associates of errors and advise if the issue requires correction by customer.
  • Look up FFLs for shipments and Form 3s.
  • Assist with monthly inventory for all serialized items at SEC locations. Maintain serialized inventory accuracy above 99% for all assigned SEC locations.
  • Assist with all compliance requests as required.
  • Help in other parts of the team regularly, work with and relay information to other departments regularly.
  • Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
  • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 0-6 months of previous relevant work experience.
  • Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a "Submitter" role with ATF eForms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel) required, Oracle and Coreware preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner and requires supervision to identify additional tasks.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
