Description

  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures, including Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals used.
  • Uphold integrity by remaining attentive and organized to produce consistent quality products.
  • Operate all pertinent laboratory equipment and instruments such as balances or digital scales, ovens and furnaces, moisture analyzers, etc. Notify supervisor when calibration or maintenance is needed for instruments.
  • Perform routine in-process and post-production quality testing for physical properties and chemical properties of raw material and finished product in a timely manner to ensure shipping deadlines are met.
  • Accurately record testing data according to product, ensuring product is within specification.
  • Coordinate with the production, shipping, and commercial teams to prioritize testing based on customer requirements and product ship dates.
  • Participate in releasing product for shipment and generating all necessary COA's.
  • Identify and communicate any quality issues to supervisor.
  • Assist in parts of investigations and resolution of non-conforming finished product issues in concert with operations, technical, and commercial teams
  • Participate in both production and lab batch trials.
  • Assists in raw material receiving and approval for production use.
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time at the discretion of the supervisor.
