The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a Digital Communication Specialist -Temporary (9-month). This position is responsible for content creation, social media management, website updates and supporting internal and external communications at the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications. Content creation includes taking photos, creating simple graphics, as well as articles for newsletters, social media and the website; strategically schedule social media content across multiple platforms and support schools in managing their social media pages; ensure that communication is cohesive, consistent, informative, and effective in supporting the District's mission, goals, objectives, and strategic direction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in writing/journalism, graphic design, digital communications or related field OR Associate's degree with 2-3 years of experience related to the position.Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field. Minimum 2 years developing and writing communications aligned with professional organizational goals and messaging. Experience in using and supporting multiple communications technologies in an educational setting, along with an interest and ability to learn more.
