As a Manager in the Forensics and Compliance practice, you will lead high-impact client engagements involving forensic accounting, compliance reviews, and complex financial investigations. You'll collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and strategic solutions in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of three in-office days per week at a client site in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party professionals to drive engagement success.

  • Conduct and oversee technical accounting and financial analyses to support investigative efforts.

  • Organize, validate, and manage large datasets to ensure accuracy and enable in-depth analysis.

  • Perform in-depth technical accounting research (U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SEC) and prepare detailed findings.

  • Perform profit / gain calculations. Prepare inability to pay analysis for parties involved in disputes.

  • Evaluate internal controls of parties involved in disputes.

  • Apply forensic and financial expertise to evaluate complex transactions and accounting irregularities.

  • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and data sources.

  • Draft high-quality reports, memoranda, and presentations for clients and other stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing actionable recommendations to clients navigating forensic, compliance, and regulatory challenges.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • CPA certification (or foreign equivalent) required.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical accounting or audit, preferably with a multinational or Big Four firm. Five to ten years of professional experience.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with familiarity in IFRS and SEC regulations.

  • Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills in complex financial environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical findings into clear insights.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (no current or future sponsorship).

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, or compliance consulting.

  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Alteryx, SQL, etc.).

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; capable of handling multiple engagements.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a Federal Government background check (clearance eligibility required).
