RTM Software Test Specialist Springfield, VA Pay From: $140,000 per year MUST: Experienced RTM (Release Train Management/Agile) Software Test Specialist Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required 5+ years minumum of relevent professional experience Experience monitoring and reporting testing and system deployment into operations Familiarity with or experience in a SAFe Agile environment Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence Experience using Tableau for reporting or dashboarding Direct support or experience working with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency or similar government mission organizations preferred but not required Experience with Transition Activity Plans (TAP's), test transition, and lessons-learned capture Hands-on experience with NGA/NTO testing processes (FAT, ORT, TRR) Strong skills in test automation and integrating automated tests into CI/CD Ability to align test cadence with Program Increments, sprints, and broader RTM frameworks Deep understanding of SAFe constructs (e.g. Solution Epics, Capabilities, Features) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present technical metrics and status to program leadership and stakeholders Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience, or Master's plus 3 years of experience in Government Program and Information Technology or a related field DUTIES: Coordinate testing activities across Release Trains, ensuring consistency, synchronization, and visibility Plan, schedule, and monitor key test milestones such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) Work with NGA testing organizations and conform to their processes and standards Establish and execute demonstration gates (checkpoints), coordinating with mission/product owners, vendors, engineers, and documenting decisions, changes, and outcomes Ensure cross-program dependencies and integration points are addressed and aligned Map requirements to test cases and outcomes, maintaining full traceability (e.g. via JIRA/Confluence) Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Tableau to track test execution, report defects, and communicate status Collect, measure, analyze test metrics (pass/fail rates, defect escape rates, cycle times, etc.) and present them to leadership Support integration of automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium) into CI/CD pipelines Coordinate across teams to manage environments, schedules, and dependencies Capture lessons learned, maintain Transition Activity Plans (TAPs), and support test transition and deployment activities Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
