The Environmental Technician supports the Environmental Manager in conducting construction site inspections, field audits, environmental audits, etc. The Environmental Technician helps to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promotes safe working conditions. The role involves assessing and monitoring potential environmental hazards and implementing measures to minimize or eliminate those hazards. The Environmental Technician also educates co-workers on safe practices, procedures and implements programs to reduce the company's environmental impact and promotes the Company s IIF culture. S/he is expected to spend a minimum of 80% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers on proper environmental compliance. Serves as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about environmental issues. Embeds self with project teams and strategically dives in using a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP) and environmental compliance. Roles and Responsibilities
