The Opportunity

The Supplier Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of materials, components, and products sourced from suppliers & subcontractors. It collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and operations, to establish and maintain supplier quality standards that align with ADB Safegate SQAM and customer requirements.

You will make an impact by....

• Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance using key metrics.
• Prepare and present supplier performance reports to internal stakeholders.
• Manage supplier-related non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage and track supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs) to ensure timely closure.
• Ensure supplier compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Conduct risk assessments for critical suppliers and processes; develop mitigation plans.
• Support and manage supplier participation in engineering change processes.
• Lead supplier CIP's to improve process capability and reduce quality-related costs.
• Promote continuous improvement at suppliers through regular performance reviews and targeted actions.
• Conduct training and workshops for suppliers on quality tools and techniques.
• Support sustainability goals by engaging suppliers on eco-friendly practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally to visit suppliers and conduct audits & assessments.

The talent we want to inspire has...

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supplier quality engineering
• Strong background in working with electromechanical, mechanical & electronics components
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and 8D Methodology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Independent, proactive, and driven to make an impact.

This would be a plus but not a must!

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification.
• Professional knowledge of products and systems used in aviation or airport industry.
• Professional knowledge of relevant international and national standards (FAA, ICAO, etc.).
