Overview

LMI is seeking an Action Officer to join our team supporting the Office of National Laboratories with the DHS Science and Technology Directorate. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Executive Secretary actions and coordinating responses to Congressional, Department, and interagency inquiries and requests. This is a remote position, but candidates are preferred to be located in the Washington D.C. area.

Responsibilities

    Coordinate Exec Sec taskers across the laboratory network using the Tasker application to ensure timely response for Congressional, Department, and interagency inquiries.
  • Interface with personnel across the organization to integrate information and coordinate responses.
  • Maintain documents in MS SharePoint in accordance with records management procedures and requirements.
  • Updated processes and procedures for task management.
  • Support initiatives across the office, including internal data requests, data compilation, report/briefing development, and other initiatives as requested.


Qualifications

  • B.S. at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work environment.
  • Work independently and perform duties with a customer service attitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
  • Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000
