SUMMARY The purpose of the position is to identify and requisition all material and subcontractor services required for contracts assigned to Repair and to provide liaison with Production, Purchasing and Estimating Representatives on material issues. Reports to the Manager, Repair Estimating or the Supervisor of Repair Material Control. Working relationships include Ship Managers, Trade Foreman, Material Support Technicians, Receiving Inspectors, Warehousemen, Material Control Analysts, Government Surveyors, Repair Engineers, Purchasing Representatives, Estimators and Contract Administrators. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work will be performed in an air-conditioned office with low noise level. ACCOUNTABILITY Directly affects production performance by providing material and information necessary for production, planning and scheduling. PAY SCALE $52,400-$85,800 This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
