Job Description

Review and process purchase requisitions, including receiving product, matching and approving invoices for payment and assisting vendors throughout all stages of the order process.

Purchase all job related materials except paper - cartons, ink, cores, pallets, chipboard, atlas plates (including supplying vendor ready file for plate artwork and all specs), work with vendors for outside work (covers) and other job related materials and production supplies

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with physical inventories - paper inventory, finished goods, raw material inventory, and fixed assets.
  • Assist managers and office employees with requests for supplies/materials.
  • Monthly financial reporting AP accruals for maintenance expenses.
  • Reconcile invoices, receive materials.
  • Generate check requests.
  • Assist procurement specialist withresolving any purchasing issues.
  • Facilitate repair calls and supplies for all printers - peak yearly report - Xerox monthly invoices
  • Engage customers to gather job requirements and translate customer requirements in to detailed manufacturing/kitting instructions and shipping/postal instructions for disposition of the customers & products.
  • Provide quality review for other Print Production Specialists to ensure all information is accounted for and accurate before the commencement of production.
  • Ensure job instructions are entered and verified in the various manufacturing systems and queued in to the production schedule.
  • Coordinate production of components with other internal plants and/or external vendors as required.
  • Coordinate the resolution of customer or manufacturing issues with customer jobs. Engage appropriate departments to verify the issue and determine the root cause.
  • May make recommendations to management on the appropriate responses to issues that are in the best interest of the customer and the company.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Disclosure Statement:

Thenational pay range for this role is $48,000 to $70,100 annually. The payrange may beslightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance,maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.


Qualifications
  • SAP/Ariba, WBS, WCSS, EPIC, Google sheets and Microsoft Office
  • Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs.
  • HS diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job is preferred.
