LaForce, a leading provider of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for an Account Manager position in our Indianapolis, IN location. This role is essential for helping us expand our customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the Indianapolis area. What You'll Do:

As an Account Manager you will call on general contractors in the market to develop relationships and create opportunities to provide our products. You will be expected to meet or exceed sales budgets while developing new relationships and supporting existing relationships. You will also be expected to identify new project opportunities and help our team deliver proposals with a bid strategy that aligns with the unique needs of each project. In addition, you will diligently follow up on bids to drive sales to closure and to accurately scope projects alongside general contractors. A comprehensive understanding of our products and their benefits to customers is necessary, as is the ability to collaborate with internal departments to meet customer needs.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications for this role typically require a bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing although candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 2-5 years of military experience is strongly considered as a substitute for relevant sales experience. Candidates must also possess strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team sales environment and a genuine interest in helping clients find the best solutions for their needs is essential.
